3 Day Juice Cleanse

I often get asked the question, "what is the best juice cleanse?" Well, my favorite one is by Dr. John R. Christopher called the 3 day juice cleanse. It is a pretty intense one so be careful. Even I got pretty sick on day 3, I felt GREAT afterwards!

It's really simple and affordable. All you need is some prune juice and some of your favorite juice. I also recommend that you keep the favorite juice within it's season for 2 reasons. One- because it will be less expensive to find fresh fruits to juice. and Two-because each juice has different effects on the body depending on the season. (I'll explain more in my next post.) I also recommend that you use the freshest and purest juices that you can find. (No use cleaning the house when you just immediately re-junk it.)

Here's the program:

Day 1- First thing in the morning drink 16 to 32 ozs. of prune juice. (It's not that bad...)
Then, 30 min later drink 8 oz. of your favorite juice
Follow that by 8 oz. of pure reverse osmosis water or distilled water 30 min. after the juice.
Continue to alternate your favorite juice and the water every 30 min. until you have
consumed 64 oz. of juice and 64 oz. of water.
Day 2- Repeat
Day 3- Repeat again!

and that's all there is to it. Now, ounces may vary depending on ability to hold fluids and such so use common sense and don't over do it. And if you need more time than 30 min. take it! Go 45 min or an hour if you need to. That's okay... but try to stick to the program as closely as possible for the best results. At times you may also feel pretty rough during this 3 day juice cleanse, like I said before it's an intense one! Let us know how your experience went with this cleanse.

The key to vibrant health!

Super antioxidant!

I tried this little treat and boy it's delicious! Not only that but I noticed that it gives you a super boost of energy and vitality. What's really neat is that you can vary the recipe to your taste and still get that benefits.

Green Berry Blast

1 head of romaine
1 /2 pound of spinach
1 cup of strawberries
1 cup of blueberries
and 1/2 cup of raspberries

I used this every morning for 2 weeks and I could tell that I could run further. I could also think more clearly and breathe easier. I like this in the spring as a sort of spring cleaner. It's thins the winter blood and gets you ready to face the warmer weather. I also noticed a reduction in spring allergies.
